VENDOR INFORMATION
Vendors of lines normally stocked in our shop …
Subject to approval, Vendors of lines normally stocked in our shop are welcome to show and promote their lines, FREE OF CHARGE at The Big Shave West 3.  You are encouraged to provide promotional material and perhaps sample sizes of your product to the attendees of the event.  All retail sales of product are made from our existing stock and in our shop, The Old Town Shaving Company at The Shoppes at Stats.  You also have the option of selling your own product at your table instead, if you prefer, under the same conditions set out immediately below for vendors of lines not normally stocked in our shop ... it's 'your choice.'

Subject to approval, Vendors of lines NOT normally stocked in our shop will pay a fee of $200.  They will bring their own product in and conduct their own retail sales.  

All Vendors …

  • Each Vendor will be required to submit a 1/3 page ad (half-text and half-graphic) for the printed program.  Page down for examples of last year's program. If you need help in this area (not a graphics-guy/gal) ... let me or Douglas know and we'll help you along with the process.  I'd be more than happy to supply a template from one of last year's ads.  Artwork deadline is April 8th, two weeks prior to the event.  Please submit a .pdf or .psd file, 300 dpi, 8.25" wide by 3.5" tall.
  • Each Vendor will be assigned and provided with a regular size table which will be made available the day before the event.  The table sizes are usually 30" x 72" and somewhere from 30 - 32" tall.  Vendors provide their own table cloths and or banners if they so desire. 
  • Vendors who are unable to attend but still would like to have their product represented are invited to provide samples to be included in the paid attendee's 'swag bags.'  We are anticipating the need for approximately 180-200 bags this year.   • All Vendors are invited to attend a get-together the night before ... usually a bbq, hosted by Damon.

SPONSOR INFORMATION
Subject to approval, Sponsorship is a $600 paid position OR an $800 invoice / merchandise credit for the event.  Where possible, the stock / merchandise credit will result in that product being featured as a 'coupon item' in this year's program.  Last year the fee was $500 and we received so many sponsorship requests that we unfortunately needed to turn some down.  There is only so much room for the Sponsors' names on the graphic and after a while further additions begin to dilute the whole concept.  The revenues (or merchandise) collected by Sponsors are not so much intended to be a profit or revenue source ... it is a way for companies to contribute to 'putting on the show.'  It's expensive to do and this year's show will be even more expensive and extravagant as well.  Sponsors will be included in our graphic which appears on the posters, the T-shirts, and all promotional material.  Sponsors will be prominently mentioned on our website and in our own promotions of the event including social medias as well as print advertising.  Sponsors will also be given a full-page in our Official Program, a copy (last year's) of which is pictured below.  Sponsors will be given a complementary and special 'swag-bag.'  Sponsors will be expected to follow the same general guidelines as Vendors however an additional table will be provided (two tables) if requested.  Sponsors will be assigned what we feel are the prominent locations at the event.  Previous years Sponsors will be given preference if the response is again too great.  If you are interested in being a Sponsor at our event, email me (Damon Stathatos) at This email address is being protected from spambots. SPEAKER / ROUND TABLE DISCUSSIONS INFORMATION
We have abandoned the Speaker format and adopted the Round Table Discussions format again this year.  Topics will range the full spectrum within our shaving world…equipment, technique, production, etc.  The Round Table panel will be determined as we get closer to the event.  If you are interested in Chairing a Round Table Discussion, contact Douglas Smythe at Phoenix Artisan Accoutrements and he will get you on the schedule !!!

We encourage anyone interested, whether vendor, sponsor, or simply attendee … with an interesting topic, to let us know of your interest.


VENDOR SPONSORED PRODUCT - Giveaways
Regardless of your participation level and even if you or your company does not attend, there will be a host of giveaway opportunities at the event and we invite any and all donations of product for such purposes.  Paid admission attendees will all receive a 'Swag Bag' full of event items such as a T-Shirt, Limited Edition event shave soap and aftershave, event program, and the like.  We also fill those swag bags with vendor supplied samples. Our Raffle is a great place to showcase your product as well and only need be one or two items.  Any vendor interested in promoting their product as giveaways, feel free to contact me.

ANNOUNCING ... THE INAUGURAL TEN-TEN 'BIG SHAVE ' AWARDS !!!
We will begin what we hope becomes an annual tradition and an Industy Benchmark ... The Annual TEN-TEN 'Big Shave' Awards.  A 'viewer-voted' ten best in ten different categories.  Best Shave Cream, Best Shave Soap, Best On-Line Vendor, etc (click through the carousel below).  Actual physical awards similar to Oscar Award Statues (but shaving-related / themed) will be presented to all winners of the Best-Of categories.  Vendors are welcome and encouraged to use their 'Best-Of' status and or their 'Top-Ten' status in the ensuing year in promoting their product and company and the distinction of their awarded status ... similar to the Oscars ... Voted Best Picture, etc.  We hope to develop these awards into the Industry Standard ... along with the coveted honor and distinction bestowed.
